Bringing hospital technology home: The Owlet Dream Sock™ offers clinically-proven, medical-grade accuracy, having been evaluated for SpO2 accuracy across all skin tones under both motion and non-motion conditions. This ensures precision within +/- 3% of gold-standard arterial blood gas measurements.

Cleaning Guidance: To maintain hygiene and avoid skin irritation, it is recommended to wash the sock and sensor every two weeks. Hand wash with mild detergent and lukewarm water for the best results.

Intended Use

Dream Sock™ is intended for routine, in-home surveillance of healthy infants by measuring oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PR). Dream Sock software analyses photoplethysmography data to identify instances when the infant’s PR and/or SpO2 moves outside a preset range and provides a notification to the caregiver, prompting them to assess the infant.

The notifications and associated data are intended to supplement the decision by caregivers to seek additional guidance for medical care of the infant. The feature is not intended to replace traditional methods of diagnosis and/or treatment.

Indications for Use

Dream Sock is indicated for use in healthy infants/children ages 0 to 18 months and weighing between 5-30 lbs / 2.5-13.6kg in the home environment. It is not intended for use with infants previously diagnosed with chronic cardiovascular and/or respiratory conditions.

Dream Sock™ is intended for the detection and notification of hypoxia when measured SpO2 levels fall below 80%, as well as the detection and
notification of tachycardia and bradycardia when PR levels are measured above 220 BPM or below 50 BPM, respectively.

The Predictive Sleep Technology uses scientific sleep principles and behavioural techniques to help babies and children sleep better. It works with the body's natural sleep-wake cycle, which is regulated by a sleep hormone that builds up and signals when it's time to sleep.

Babies and children need frequent naps throughout the day, typically ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours. The length of these naps depends on their individual sleep needs, how much sleep they've had before, how long they've been awake, their age, and their stage of development.

Can I have multiple Owlet products linked on the App?

Absolutely! The Owlet Dream™ App supports multiple child profiles and Owlet devices, so you can monitor multiple babies. Just make sure each Sock and its assigned Base Station are separated by child so you know who the notification belongs too.

What makes Dream Sock different from other baby monitors?

Unlike traditional monitors, the Owlet Dream Sock™ provides detailed health metrics using pulse oximetry, is medically-certified, and prioritises safety and comfort.

How long does the Dream Sock Sensor Battery last?

The Sensor offers up to 16 hours of battery life when new, with drop-and-go charging. It charges fully in just 90 minutes, or gets an 8-hour charge in just 20 minutes. It's recommended to charge the Sensor daily when using the Dream Sock™.

If the Wi-Fi goes down does the monitor still work?

Yes, if the Base Station glows green, the Dream Sock™ continues monitoring your baby’s oxygen level and pulse rate. It will notify you if readings exceed preset ranges, even if the Owlet Dream™ App or Wi-Fi are offline.
