When I was a new mum I happened to be based in France (it’s where my husband worked) and I started to find lots of brilliant products that we didn’t have in the UK. I soon found that lots of my Brit mums wanted to get their hands on these nifty time-savers too and I was more than happy to load up a wheelie bag every time I went back to catch up with family and friends. I would never have believed this simple goods exchange would give way to Cheeky Rascals, my own business.
We’ve built up quite a bank of knowledge over the years so this blog is where we’ll share our thoughts, tips and guidance.
Eighteen years and three kids on, running Cheeky Rascals involves scouring both home and the globe for the very best parenting kit, which we then sell on to many, many families in the UK and beyond. Nowadays it isn’t just me of course: My husband Simon is very much my partner in life and business. Even the kids can be spotted helping out at The Baby Show and other events. We are lucky to have a great team of mums and dads, many of who work flexibly, so that working life continues to fit around family (and that’s just how we like it!).
From potty training to keeping safe in the sun, we’ve built up quite a bank of knowledge over the years so this blog is where we’ll share our thoughts, tips and guidance. Sometimes we’ll simply be telling you about a brilliant new product and other times we’ll be chewing the fat, sharing some thoughts or even kicking off a debate! This brand new blog accompanies our shiny new website, which we really, really hope you like. Do let us know what you think.
