Our Team

Simon, Managing Director

I’ve been involved with the business from the beginning, but for the first few years I did evenings and weekends, packing boxes and going to Trade Shows, while the day job paid the mortgage. The company grew, and we decided to see if Selina and I could work together full time. We are still in business and married, which is obviously good!

I manage the business on a day to day basis with a focus on all the commercial aspects. I love working with people and helping them to develop their skills, which is immensely satisfying and relatively easy to do in an environment that is constantly growing and changing.

I enjoy swimming and cycling to keep fit. I also organise our local Triathlon once a year which is fun and raises money and awareness of Petersfield based charity, Fitzroy.

Selina, Managing Director

My role now is largely a strategic one in guiding the business to meet the latest set of challenges and getting to grips with new product ranges. In addition, I run the financial and systems side of things – most recently coordinating what has been a superhuman effort by the team in putting this new website together.

Outside of work I find myself constantly on the squash court during weekday evenings, and the weekends are filled with outdoor activities with Simon and our 3 boys – sailing, walking, cycling etc. Our holidays are always active ones, skiing, surfing, canoeing, hiking, whatever is appropriate for the time of year. I also am a keen veg grower so love spending time in our garden.

Leonie, Marketing Director

My role as Marketing Director is a busy one. I am responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of our brands and products. With a big portfolio this is no mean feat.  Day to day we get involved creating marketing and social media strategies and guidelines, planning and launching new products, exhibitions and creating lots of lovely content with the help of our expert friends.

My daughter, husband and I enjoy holidays, swimming, cycling, visiting historic houses  and long Sunday morning walks. I am not ashamed to say I love a bit of trashy reality TV and to relax, I like to enjoy a good book in peace!

Debbie, Sales Director

I joined Cheeky Rascals as their Sales Director on Valentine’s day 2017 and it’s been love ever since! I have been in the baby products industry since 2000 and am passionate about bringing products to market that are unique, useful, high quality and innovative. I love searching for new ideas that will make parents’ lives easier and Cheeky Rascals is the perfect platform for doing so. The company has a fantastic ethos and a really strong and dedicated team that I am proud to be part of.

When I’m not playing with children’s products at work I’m playing with them at home as I have two very cheeky little rascals of my own who keep my husband and I very busy! We live by the sea and enjoy long walks, playing in the garden, going out for meals and we are all partial to a good holiday or two in the sun. I love horse-riding and I can’t wait for my children to get old enough to get more involved with fun (and work!) on the farm!

Donna, Accounts

I joined the team in 2004 and together with my colleague Kerry we maintain the financial records for Cheeky Rascals. During my time here the company has grown significantly, as have my children, who are now off to College and University.

Sarah, Accounts

After moving down to Hampshire from Essex I joined the fantastic cheeky team in 2019, I work in the accounts department alongside Donna helping maintain the financial records.

When I am not in the office I am usually here, there and everywhere with my own two little rascals who love keeping me on my toes! I have just started volunteering at the local primary school listening to the children practice their reading.  I enjoy seeing my family and friends back in Essex and hopping on a plane to Bulgaria visiting my in-laws.

Kerry, Customer Support and Operations Manager

I joined the company in August 2008 to support Donna in accounts but my role has grown significantly and changed a lot also in the time I have been here and now I am responsible for the Customer Support and Operations Team.

I enjoy cinema with friends or the kids (who aren’t kids anymore and can watch proper films!), getting together for a nice girl’s meal out or doing a pub quiz when I get a chance. You can never learn too much! I also enjoy a nice break by popping over to Malta to see the in-laws!

Adele, Logistics

I joined the Cheeky Rascals team in July 2021 to coordinate the Inbound shipping logistics and look after the outbound deliveries to our trade and Ireland customers.

When I am not at work I am either running round keeping up with my family and friends, in the theatre, or planning my next travel adventure.

Leanne, Customer Service Team Leader

I joined Cheeky Rascals Customer Services team in July 2018 shortly following my return to work from Maternity Leave. After previously working in Sales Administration for some years I am used to dealing with the public and I really enjoy my varied role as no day is the same in Customer Services so it keeps me on my toes!

When I am not at work I am either running around after my Cheeky daughter who keeps me busy or baking ever more elaborate cakes for my family and friends, my most recent concoction being a Rapunzel cake as per my Niece’s request!

Tracey, Customer Service Representative

I am a new Cheeky Rascal, only with the company for a month. Working in Customer Support, enjoying my new role and working closely with the Cheeky Customers.

Mum of two teenage girls keeping me on my toes.

When not dealing with day to day cheeky queries or general mum queries, you will find me at home, with my family dancing and singing in the kitchen or socialising/hiking with my friends. I am at my happiest when December comes around celebrating Christmas.

Sophie, Customer Services Representative

I am currently doing an apprenticeship in Customer Support with Cheeky Rascals. I am still learning so much about the company and my job role and hope to continue learning in the coming years!

When I am not at work, I like to bake for my family and go out with my friends, especially to the cinema. I also love Christmas and always start planning in October as its my favourite time of the year.

Carolyn, Product Compliance

I started out in 2004, working in customer services. Having spent a few years in our marketing department, I’m back with the customer services team, which I love.

My two boys keep me very busy with various sporting activities and I also run the 1st Petersfield Cub Pack. When I get a chance I love spending time with my husband and boys, swimming, and socialising with friends.

Em, Graphic Designer

After graduating from the University for the Creative Arts with a BA Honours degree I have been working in the graphic design industry for the past 8 years. I joined Cheeky Rascals in September 2015 after realising my passion lies in the nursery industry and I have been busy working on a variety of different projects from branding and packaging to advertising and marketing communications.

When I’m not at work I am constantly busy making all sorts of arts and crafts, I love to shop and go on holiday, and occasionally you will find me in the gym or trying a new work out video!

Emma, Ecommerce and Marketing Assistant

I started Cheeky Rascals in 2019 after I graduated from Brighton University. For two years, I worked in the Customer Services team, and recently I have moved into the Marketing Department, which I have been really enjoying. My job involves maintaining and running the website alongside assisting Heidi with Amazon duties.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, dog walks and bottomless brunches with my friends.

Saneetha

Sangeetha, Digital Marketing Intern

I joined the Cheeky Rascals team in February 2022 as a part-time Digital Marketing Intern for my Placement year. Eventually I will be working full time. I’ve been here only for a couple of weeks, and I’ve already learnt a lot from the team and my role. My day-to-day involves Digital Merchandising & E-Commerce, and SEO.  When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, swimming, dancing, exploring new places, and catching up with my friends.

Tess, Marketing Intern

I joined Cheeky Rascals in July 2021 as a placement student from the University of Surrey. Although I have only been here a couple of the months, I already feel part of the family. I work in the Marketing Department and I have quickly learnt that no day ever looks the same. I have had days where I start out being a hand model in a photoshoot then end up stacking boxes in the warehouse!

When I am not at work, I love to go out the town with my friends or catching up on some reality TV!.

Emily, Social Media Manager

I manage the social media and partnerships for Cheeky Rascals. My day to day involves creating content for the social media channels, paid social advertising and working with all our wonderful brands, partners and influencers!

In my spare time I have fun chasing around my little one year old as well as our lively 3 year old Golden Retriever. I also love home baking, retail therapy and spending time with my girlfriends.

Heidi, Ecommerce Content Specialist

I have been with Cheeky Rascals since July 2019 where I originally started as a Marketing Intern on a one year university placement. Since then my role has evolved and nowadays  I maintain our presence on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, and I am involved with many projects in the marketing team, including email campaigns, website content and retailer brand asset communications.

When I am not working, I enjoy playing my musical instruments and spending time with my close friends, family and two cats.

Al, Account Manager

I have been with Cheeky Rascals a few years now and my first role was in our fantastic Customer Services department. I have since branched out into Sales and I am now Southern Account Manager. I spend most of my time on the road visiting clients for product training and introducing new products in our vast range. It is a very varied role, which I love and it rarely has a dull moment (except M25 traffic).

Any free time I have is spent playing drums in numerous bands spanning all genres, hanging out with friends at my local , or spending quality time at home with my girlfriend our two little Cats.

Steve, Account Manager

I joined Cheeky Rascals in the summer of 2019, having spent two years within the nursery industry. I look after all northern accounts selling our products into leading independent nursery stores.

As you can see from my bio picture, I’m an identical twin! (I actually don’t know which baby is me!) My spare time is spent socialising, enjoying good food and drink and am also a lover of a holiday or two.

Jules, Business Development Executive

I joined Cheeky Rascals in August 2019 and immediately knew I was going to enjoy my role here. The Cheeky Rascals team are such a friendly bunch and I love the range of baby and nursery products we deal with – all of them have something truly unique to offer! My previous Account Management roles have been primarily in the publishing sector with HarperCollins and Wiley and also with Made by Oomph! focusing on the supply of wristbands and ticketing for festivals and events worldwide using the latest fintech cashless payment systems.

Out of work I love spending time with my husband and two children (teenagers now and I am very envious of the great nursery products on offer now compared to when they were babies!). I also enjoy walking our dog, catching up with friends in our local village pub, going to music festivals and exploring new places or experiences.
