Check for a good fit

Remember that your breasts will often change size and shape during and after pregnancy, so keep an eye out for key points to remember with a good fitting bra.

       FRONT                                            BACK
diagram for Good Fit Front

The chest band should sit flat against your body and feel snug all the way round.

The central mesh panel does not need to sit flat against your sternum, the panel supports your breasts and prevents them from going east/ west and south

Check that your breasts are not bulging at the top or sides, you should have smooth lines under clothing

The inner lining should sit flat and not restrict your breast, lines should also be smooth under clothes.

Check for shoulder slope, most people do not have level shoulders so you may need to adjust one strap slightly tighter than the other.

Your straps should sit flat against your back in the U-shaped sports style back, shoulders straps should not dig in to your shoulders

Check that the back sits horizontally flat and
does not ride up.
