Certified by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, the Love To Dream Swaddle UP Lite Transition Bag in 0.2 Tog?is the easiest and gentlest way to help your baby graduate from swaddling while maintaining the snug secure feeling of being swaddled. Simply zip off one wing at a time, allowing your baby to slowly adjust to ?arms-free? sleep. Suitable for babies between 4 – 9 months.
As soon as baby shows signs of trying to roll, you must stop swaddling – this is because the ARMS UP position does not allow them to push themselves back onto their back.
- Designed with patented zip-off wings, the Ready-To-Roll swaddles are a gentle, safe way to transition from swaddling.
- Sizing determined by weight of your baby, swaddles provide a snug fit to make your baby feel secure and warm replicating the feeling of being in the womb.
- Certified hip-healthy design allows the recommended flexion for hips and legs.
- Ingeniously designed, there is a twin zip for easy nappy changes.
- Ideal for moderate room temperatures between 24-27*C

Love To Dream
In 2008, Hana-Lia Krawchuk faced many challenges of being a new parent, one being the challenge of getting her son to sleep. Through trial and many errors, she found that no products would help her baby sleep – which led her to the first real glimpse of a solution. She realised her son slept better with his arms UP, rather than wrapped around his body (like many products suggested). This started the Love To Dream journey.
Since then, millions of parents across the world are now using Love To Dream swaddles and sleep suits. From new-born to toddler, this is the ideal solution for families to achieve a better night’s sleep!
What size will I need for my little one?
Check out our size guide below; we advise that you base the size on the weight of your little one. The table is only a guide. All babies are different.
What do I need to dress my baby underneath their swaddle?
Each swaddle will have a particular TOG. TOG means ‘Thermal Overall Grade’, which is a unit of measurement used to calculate the thermal insulation of a product, usually in the textile industry. The higher the TOG, the warmer the product. The table below provides you with the guidelines around how to dress your baby based on the room temperatures.
Note: It is important to check your baby regularly to ensure that they are comfortable and that they do not overheat.
Is it unhygienic for my baby to suck their hands when they’re covered in the Swaddle UP?
The Swaddle UP? is unique because it allows your baby access to his or her hands for self-soothing. Some babies love to suck on their hands as they fall asleep- unfortunately this does mean that the ?wings? of the garment can get a little wet. Parents should wash any garment, swaddle or wrap after use if it is soiled. The same applies to the Love To Swaddle UP?. We recommend purchasing more than one so that you always have a clean Swaddle UP while one is in the wash.
Is the SwaddleUP healthy for my baby’s hip development?
Our Swaddle UP? and Swaddle UP 50/50? are both certified and approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Your baby?s natural, safe sleep position is with their legs splayed in a frog-like position. The Swaddle UP? allows your baby to sleep in this position without restriction.
Should my SwaddleUP be bunching?
The zip may bunch at the chest during wear. We want to assure you that this is not a problem unless the bunching ?excess? material covers the nose or mouth of your baby and obstructs her breathing.
As the parent, we kindly ask you to use your discretion and should you feel that the fabric is physically covering your babies mouth or nose, we recommend ceasing use immediately of the existing size and wait a couple more weeks until your baby is a little bigger. Please bear in mind that although Love To Dream perform extensive pre-production trials and fittings to ensure the Swaddles are the correct fit for most babies, we appreciate that all babies are different and unique in size and shape.
