Are you ready to potty train?

Most parents decide to potty train their child when they are between 18 months and 36 months but there is no right or wrong age to potty train, the more important thing to consider is whether your child is ready.

Potty training will be much quicker and easier if you wait until your little one is both physically and mentally ready. This is also true for you as parents, so pick a time that works for you too so that you are relaxed and prepared.

Don’t try to potty train when you and your child are going through any big changes like moving to a new house, having a new baby, starting nursery or if it is a busy time of year like Christmas.

Pick a week when you don’t have any plans, make sure you have everything to hand that you will need and settle down for a week dedicated to potty training your child in a relaxed and comforting environment.
