Wishbone Design are aiming high to achieve social, ethical and environmental sustainability in everything that they do - through raw material sourcing, to where and how they manufacture - together with their office systems and business policies and support for other organisations and interests.

November 2007
Wishbone Bike is launched in New Zealand, made from sustainable Kiln-dried, preservative-free plantation birch/ash.
May 2009
Wishbone Bike listed among 100 most influential green people and products by TIME Magazine Green Design 100.
September 2009
Silicone seat cover launched. Silicone manufacturing uses less energy and water than alternative plastics, utilises no petrochemicals and the natural raw materials are abundant.
November 2009
Wishbone Bike spare parts bag now made from certified organic cotton. Wishbone Bike box re-designed with reusable panels to reduce packaging waste.
April 2011
Wishbone Bike wins 2 green awards: Best Green Toy, Dr Toy USA. Junior Design Awards, Highly Commended BEst Eco Toy, UK.
