Sleep Tips

"I trialled Momo the Monkey for my daughter Lottie, as we have always struggled to get her to stay in bed long enough in the morning. Lots of early rising and coming in to our room was getting unmanageable, so we needed a solution. We tried Momo the Monkey with Lottie for a week and I was amazed how quickly she responded to him and the idea of when she should get up.

We had tried all sorts of other things, and I am so happy that this simple and fun clock could change our sleep routines for good and so quickly. I would highly recommend this to any other parents in our situation."

Follow a regular bedtime routine. This helps children wind down at the end of the day. Calm activities after dinner like quiet games and story books and bathtime. Follow this pattern every evening, even when away from home.

Stick with a consistent daytime routine too. Nap times during the day are equally important to how a child sleeps at night. Eating, napping, playing at the same time each day will help them settle quickly and without fuss when it comes to bedtime.

Help them to self-sooth. When children get in to the habit of night-waking and crying for parents they soon unlearn being able to get themselves back off to sleep alone. Go in and check on them so they know you are there, but try not to sit with them until they fall back asleep as they will soon get used to it - and you'll never be able to leave them with a babysitter!
