Gus the Turtle is the world's first timer based nightlight. He is portable and his LED nightlight does not get warm, so he can be safely taken to bed, and unlike other night lights for children, he automatically switches off after the time you choose - 10, 20 or 30 minutes, or if you prefer he can be left on all night.
His push button shell is easy for children to operate at night, and the light intensity can be varied to further help with sleep training. The timer function and safe LED lights ensure a long battery life.

A comforting friend, easy to use, lighweight, safe, timer. My daughter of 19 months loves this nightlight... It's easy for her to use and I like the timer settings, it means I don't have to remember to turn it off after she has gone to sleep. A little pricey but well made, functional and very cute!

Someone recommend we buy GUS for our almost 22 month old son. He sometimes has a hard time falling asleep, which seems very normal for little ones, but Gus sometimes got him frustrated. He would turn him off and on and it prevented him from falling asleep. This maybe due to the clicking sound of turning Gus on and off or maybe he just wants to play with Gus, either way I'll try to use Gus again when our son gets to maybe 2 1/2 and will update my review then.

I bought Gus for my 2 yo son who was just starting a fear of monsters phase. It took my son a little bit to warm up to Gus, but now he wont go to bed without him. I like how easy he is to turn on, so that if my kiddo wakes up scared, he can just bump Gus and he is on (this also means that if he rolls over on him in his sleep, Gus is on too!). The adjustable time settings are great as well. I would definitely recommend Gus!

We love the night light at home. It’s a great way of providing enough light for me to be able to check on my little one and to give enough light for her to not be afraid of the complete darkness. The timer automatically switches off after 10, 20 or 30 mins or can stay on all the time if needed. It doesn’t get hot so perfect for cuddling. Great for travelling and holidays as well.
