Momo the Monkey Sleeptrainer

See a demonstration of Momo the Monkey & Mumbo the Elephant Sleeptrainer!

Getting a good night's sleep is important for the whole family. We need sleep to keep us healthy, happy and full of energy. Children need sleep to grow and learn, and the key is a calm bedtime routine

Momo the Monkey and Mumbo the Elephant are fun and cheeky sleep training alarm clock's that encourage children to get up AND go to bed, at a civilised hour - helping the whole household to get that well deserved sleep.

By opening and closing their eyes, they intuitively teaches your child when to stay in bed, helping to prevent early rising – especially important when they haven't learnt to tell the time. When the sleeptrainer has his eyes closed, a child quickly understands that they should be sleeping and when their eyes open, it's time to 'rise and shine'.

Not the usual alarm, Momo and Mumbo are fun for kids, playing gentle jungle sounds to help your child wake up for the new day (with adjustable volume and off switch). They also have a built-in 30 second nightlight, and both digital and analogue clock faces to help teach children to tell the time.

Momo the Monkey is available in Pink and Green and Mumbo the Elephant is available in white.

Need to tackle an extreme early riser? Myn B - can really recommend the BabyZoo Sleeptrainer for early rising toddlers. It features a.o a monkey who can open and close its eyes. You can tell your child that as long as the monkey is sleeping, he/she should stay in bed. Really easy and it works!

I received the Kids Alarm Clock and was really excited to see if it would help my son stay in bed a little bit longer in the mornings. Enter…The BabyZoo kids alarm clock sleeptrainer! It is an alarm clock for kids showing them in an intuitive way when they are allowed to get out of bed or still need to get some sleep. It is a cute little monkey named “Momo” and he tells your child by opening and closing his eyes when it is time to get up: Eyes closed – “You should be sleeping”, Eyes open – “Rise and Shine”. Like a regular alarm clock it displays time digital time as well analogue, teaching them how to read time both ways, which is really great! It didn’t take long for Ethan to get the hang of when he could get up. It was like the 2nd day and he was doing great with it. It is great to have him sleep in a little bit longer. I also think it is super cute that there is a boy and girl one. How fun!

I like the way it is a sleep trainer, traditional and digital clock all rolled in to one. The girls love to make monkey go to sleep and know to stay in bed until he wakes up. I like the way it will grow with them as it is a real clock to tell the time which differs from most of the other sleep training clocks I've seen.

his is a great little clock - it has both digital and analogue display, which helps with time training - the main reason for buying was to encourage my son to stay in his own room during the night (the monkeys eyes can be closed and an alarm set to open them) - I haven't seen or heard from him before morning since we started using it. You can also turn off the alarm, so that the eyes open, but if the child is still asleep they don't get woken up (great for weekends). My only complaint is that the alarm is too quiet - other than that great purchase and have already recommended to lots of friends

We have had sleep problems with my little one for years now. Not being able to stay in her bed all night long, every night and when on the odd occasion that she did, she gets up at the crack of dawn. We were shown the sleeptrainer and after some persuasion gave it a go. A miracle happened and from that night on she managed to stay in bed, all night long and got up only when Momo woke up. I think that she concentrated so hard that first night on waiting for him to wake up she was soooooooooo tired which meant it was easy to encourage her to try again the next night and so on. Excellent! Fingers crossed it stays that way.
